I am Andrea Ruscica
and for 30 years I have been involved in technological innovation
and organization for businesses.
In 1993, I founded Altea together with some friends and longtime partners. It was a small consulting company based on Lake Maggiore, in Italy. This marked the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, which allowed me to live and express my greatest passion: understanding how to influence business dynamics and improve performance, through IT solutions and a new way of organizing people’s work to enhance their potential.
Three decades have passed since that 13th of January, and on this journey, I have been fortunate enough to bring together many people who have chosen Altea as their own professional project.
It is thanks to them that we have grown to become Altea Federation, a group of companies specialized in System Integration and Digital Innovation.
Today we are facing our new decade with Chequers Capital, private equity fund, new majority shareholder of the Altea Group. Together, we are future-ready, to the Next Level.

I have many interests and consider myself a curious person. I read international authors and contemporary researchers who help me interpret the ever-changing landscape and observe the trends that shape the course of history, society, and the economy.
A few years ago, I collected my perspective in a book, retracing my journey as an entrepreneur and as a person immersed in the technological evolution of our times.
It was a project that I promoted with Informatici Senza Frontiere, to erase the digital divide.
